Derrick was just want we want in a service technician. He examined the situation and explained our options. Answered all our questions. On top of that was one of the nicest young men my wife and I have ever met.
Prompt, thorough, knowledgeable and professional! Pleasure having him as a Service Technician. Thank you
Derrick was by far the best technician we have had with Doormar! Very professional and polite.
I was happy with the speed I was able to get an appointment. The tech was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to show me an exact estimate for work needed done.
Anthony showed professionalism and explained everything Very kind and helpful.
The estimator took a very quick look at my basement and outside where the pipe would exit. He explained next to nothing. He began asking questions that were irrelevant to his purpose---I got the feeling he was trying to see how much he could charge me! ! His estimate was $3900.00. That is twice the one estimate and triple the other estimate I got. Needless to say, Dor-Mar is not doing the work!
Response from Dor-Mar Heating & Air Conditioning:
We can assure you our technician is thourough and that the cost given to you is about average when it comes to the installation of a Radon System by Dor-Mar. If this is out of your price range we definetly understand, but please do not let that effect your view of the technicain who is simply doing his job.
Looks like he has fixed the problem this time around
I arrived at the client's home to perform a radon estimate. I verified the radon readings with our testers and laid out the job with the site engineer. The client decided to move forward with the estimate, and the Raydon system will be installed tomorrow.
I am a home service technician, and I recently completed a furnace, maintenance, changed out air filter, cleaned flame sensor, verified good amperage and made sure flames were correct pressures.
I am a skilled professional that works for a Dor-Mar Heating & Air Conditioning company. I completed a furnace, maintenance, verified air filter to be clean, verified amperage to be good, cleaned off the flame sensor, noted slightly higher ohms on the igniter, and we like to see, potentially indicating failure within the near future. I pulled out the gas manifold, inspected the heat exchanger, and it appeared to be OK. There was slight heat damage, but no cracks or rust. I fired the unit, and the temperature came out good.

I was called to a home to repair a unit that was not cooling. Upon arrival, I found that the condenser fan was not coming on. I checked the capacitor and found that it was reading 0mfd. I replaced the capacitor and the unit is now running.
I completed a no-cool call on a Dor-Mar Heating & Air Conditioning system. Upon arrival, I found that the compressor was over-ramping on startup, indicating that the compressor was about to fail. I also noticed that the evaporator coil was cracked, which is a sign of a failing heat exchanger. I red-tagged and condemned the furnace, and the client will need to discuss with their wife what to do next.
I was called to a home to repair a broken air conditioner. Upon arrival, I found that the unit was not producing any cool air. I performed a series of tests to determine the issue. I checked the power supply, the refrigerant levels, and the airflow. After several hours of troubleshooting, I was unable to duplicate the issue. I informed the homeowner of the situation and recommended that they call a professional for further assistance.
I was called to a home to provide an estimate for a gas line installation. The customer had recently purchased a new gas stove and needed to have the gas line installed to connect it to the stove. I arrived at the home and inspected the area where the gas line would be installed. I then provided the customer with an estimate for the cost of the installation, which included the cost of the gas line, fittings, and any necessary permits. The customer agreed to the estimate and we scheduled a date for the installation to be completed. I worked with the customer to schedule the installation and made sure that all the necessary permits were obtained. On the day of the installation, I arrived at the home and began the installation process. I worked with the customer to ensure that the gas line was installed correctly and that all the fittings were tight. I also made sure that the gas line was properly vented to prevent any gas leaks. After the installation was complete, I tested the gas line
I am a skilled professional that works for a Dor-Mar Heating & Air Conditioning company. I recently completed a job for a customer who needed a new heating and air conditioning system. I emailed the customer a quote for the job and mapped out the job for them. I also informed them that I had two other bids that I was working on. The customer decided to go with my bid and I am currently in the process of getting the other two bids.
I was called to a home to check on a unit that was not cooling. Upon arrival, I found that the system was low on refrigerant and the compressor was hitting well above the low-pressure alarm. I recommended a reliable and energy-efficient solution, such as our safe air conditioners. The client was able to get approved for the installation and is moving forward with the project.
I am a skilled professional that works for a Dor-Mar Heating & Air Conditioning company. I recently completed a furnace, maintenance, clean, flame sensor, and cleaned igniter, verified heat rise to be good as well as cleared out pressure tubes to prevent down calls. The client was happy with the energy, efficiency, and decrease in their electric bill. They will change out the air filter themselves.
