Cody fixed a problem with a “run” to a vent in our kitchen. It is in a tough spot however it should’ve been done better from the beginning. He fixed it the right way. Plus! It’s really windy today and our trash cans blew into the road. He picked them up and put them next to the building. Who does that! Great employee and a great human being. Thank you Cody!!

Usually DorMar does a great job. But I was disappointed when the technician did not have humidifier filters on his truck and that I would have to pay for an additional service visit if I wanted him to come back and install two.

I successfully completed the installation of a new water heater, ensuring all safety protocols were followed. The process began with the careful removal of the old unit, followed by the installation of the new heater. I successfully installed a new bottom element in the heating system. This involved carefully removing the old element, ensuring all connections were secure and safe. I then installed the new element, double-checking its placement and connections to guarantee optimal performance. After confirming everything was correctly set up, I tested the system to ensure the new element was functioning properly. The installation was completed efficiently, with attention to detail to maintain the system's integrity.
I conducted a thorough inspection of the electric furnace, addressing the client's concern about the unit not maintaining the desired temperature despite continuous operation. The indoor temperature was 74 degrees, and it was determined that the electric strip heaters were insufficient. I recommended replacement strip heaters and provided various replacement options for the client to consider, ensuring they have the best solution for their needs.
Upon arrival, the system was experiencing frequent shutdowns due to a pressure switch issue, leading to a system lockout from improper exhaust gas termination. I inspected the intake pipe, finding no issues, then examined the exhaust pipe, discovering water buildup. I adjusted the exhaust pipe pitch, cleared the hoses, and checked the secondary heating exchanger for blockages. Although no other faults were found, the system exhibited significant rust, which was noted for future maintenance.
I installed a Crown boiler, previously used in another home for a week due to sizing considerations. The system is now registered to your home. Additionally, I installed a new chimney liner, ensuring safe and efficient operation. If required, I provided a lift for access. A new pump and vent were also installed to enhance system performance. The boiler was connected to the existing radiator lines, and a new trim kit was included. Note that new radiators were not part of this installation.

Upon replacing the inverter, a communication error was detected in the system. Following the manufacturer's guidelines, I diagnosed the issue and determined that the control board was likely at fault. I communicated with the client about the potential need for a control board replacement. After confirming the parts request, I successfully replaced the control board. The system is now functioning correctly, and the communication error has been resolved. The client is satisfied with the outcome, and the system is operating efficiently.
