Customer stated unit is making high pitched squealing noise. Based off what customer is describing it sounds like there is an air leak somewhere. Turned ac and furnace on to see if I could hear noise but system didn’t make noise. Bottom door of unit has broken clips due to previous company and is just tapped on. Took door off to make sure it was completely sealed. Tapped door back up. Let customers know we would look into possibly getting new clips so door can seal properly. Told customer areas to look if noise ends up happening again and to give us a call.
Plumbing maintenance. Asked if there were any issues. Checked for any water leaks on pipes. Flushed sediment out of system with solution. Checked condition of t&p valve. Also checked for proper venting. Radon read 4.63pci.
Ac maintenance. Asked if there were any concerns. Checked condition of furnace filter and evaporator coil. Took reading of blower amp draw. Checked for clean condenser coil outside to ensure proper airflow. Checked electrical on condenser for any burnt or loose wires. Checked mfd readings on capacitor. Made sure refrigerant pressures read correctly.
Systems drain was plugged up causing it to shutdown due to the overflow switch. When they hard piped the drain in they glued the whole thing. Cleared drain system running. The other problem is the programmable thermostat keeps going to a schedule and the customer does not want it. Sent over estimate for new drain and thermostat.
NEED TREVON TO RETURN TO REPLACE THE BLOWER MOTOR AND CAPACITOR FOR FURNACE. COLLECT PAYMENT WHEN COMPLETE.
