Disappointed with Dor-Mar’s Service and Follow-Up

Extremely disappointed with the service. The technician showed up, swapped out a filter we already had, and left—without actually addressing the issue. He told us to wait 30 minutes and call customer service if the air still wasn’t working. After waiting two hours, I called and was met with a rude response from a customer service rep who scolded me for calling “after hours,” as if I should’ve known their schedule. No one followed up in the morning as promised. Thankfully, another company stepped in first thing and resolved the issue properly. Dor-Mar wasted our time and offered zero resolution.

We have reviewed all the information in your account and would like to note all notes and pictures of diagnosis of the unit are in our techs Dispatch and that we have no record of any type of confrontation between you and our Live Service Agent or our CSR who followed up behind them to inform you that they were new and mistakenly schedule you for an after hours call. As we do not offer after hours service for our Commercial Properties. Our CSR did apologize for the mistake and got your appointment moved to the next available slot. Though we are pleased to hear your issue has been resolved, it is unfortunate we were not given the proper chance to right our wrong.

Fantastic tech and service!

Fantastic service call and Cameron was professional and knowledgeable. Older 15+ year AC unit and he was completely able to restore service and provide needed maintenance on the spot to keep us cool.

I do not have a problem wit Camron but I do have an issue with Dor-Mar Heating and Air Conditioning. I received an estimate for a new motor for my Bryant Air Conditioner, I checked the price onlin and I can purchase the same OEM motor for 217.00 dollars instead of the 450.00 Dollars that Dor-Mar is wanting, sorry but I do not wish to do business with a company that doubles the price of a product, I did not mind the 150.00 per hour quote for installing the motor, still seams high to me. Up until this I have been telling my friends that is as great to find a company that supported, Appliances, Hvac, Plumbing and was looking at getting Radon checked but no longer will i deal with a company that i feels over charges like this. Sorry

mediocre, service

Mediocre service, my hotwater tank was serviced and the Technician was was done quickly. When this appointment was scheduled they were also suppost to test for Radon but the technican was sent out without the needed equipment to test for Ranon. My first appointment was canceled and a new appointment was scheduled two plus monnths later, more of a pain having to have a service rescheduled.
