I came home after work at 6pm to a house that was 85 degrees. It was one of the hottest days/nights of the year. My AC unit is only 6 years old so I had no idea what to do or who to contact for service. I found Dor Mar’s contact info online and was shocked that I was able to talk to a live person AND they were able to schedule service that same night! Our technician was incredibly polite and knowledgeable. He found the issue, fixed it and inspected everything in less than an hour. I would 100% call him again for any and all HVAC issues. I was incredibly grateful that we didn’t have to suffer the heat all night. Thank you, Derrick!!

Plumbing service on a 5 year old hot water tank not producing hot water on Paradisio Drive
Today, I was called to address an issue with a Bradford White 50-gallon electric water heater installed in 2018. Upon inspection, the water heater appeared to be in excellent condition, which is typical for this model. I tested both the top and bottom heating elements, which showed a resistance of 13 ohms, indicating they are functioning correctly. Additionally, I checked the top and bottom thermostats for continuity, confirming they are operational. Although there was a slight possibility of a crack in one of the thermostats, it was likely calcified, which could mask internal issues. Given the water heater's age, I recommended a replacement for better efficiency. I provided estimates for repair, replacement, and a tankless option, which the client expressed interest in. The client decided to consult with their spouse before making a final decision.
I scheduled the customer's yearly gas furnace maintenance for their Galena, Ohio home.
This estimate is to remove old 80 gallon water heater and replace with a new 55gl electric hot water tank . Also water heater will be placed in a pan and a new isolation valve will be installed. Anything beyond this scope of work will be a change order. We will also who permit through the city and the city will have to come out and approve the install.
*upon arrival we met with the home owner and she let us know that she had multiple different issues. First she showed up down to the basement where and HVAC tech had been out to do maintenance and noticed that the floor drain by the water heater was draining slowly. Let us know that she also had a slow drain upstairs in the bathroom where she gives her son a bath every night. They are the second owners of the home and just bought the house in June so unsure what is it that line. After testing the shower in the upstairs hall bath confirmed that we would need to cable out the line to restore proper flow back to the shower. All the lines in the home and ran in PVC and PEX. They also do have a stack clean out in the basement along with a back water valve.
I am a skilled professional that works for a Dor-Mar Heating & Air Conditioning company. I recently completed a furnace inspection on a residential property. The furnace was in need of some maintenance, as the flames were yellowing due to fresh paint being in the air. I inspected the furnace and found that the burners were dirty, and the heat exchanger was damaged. I replaced the burners and heat exchanger and tested the furnace to ensure it was working properly. I also provided the customer with some tips on how to maintain their furnace and prevent future issues.
I am a highly skilled home service professional. I recently completed a furnace repair job for a customer. The customer's furnace was not producing heat, so I diagnosed the issue as a faulty heat exchanger and collector box. I replaced the defective parts and tested the furnace to ensure it was working properly. The customer paid me the agreed-upon price, and I provided them with a warranty for the repairs. I also explained to the customer how to maintain the furnace and prevent future issues.
I am a highly skilled home service professional who specializes in repairing and installing POF heat exchangers and collector boxes. I have years of experience in the field and have successfully completed numerous projects for satisfied customers. One of the most common issues I encounter with POF heat exchangers and collector boxes is leaks. These systems are designed to transfer heat from the sun to the water, and if there are any leaks, it can result in significant water loss and increased energy consumption. I use specialized tools and techniques to locate and repair leaks, ensuring that the system is operating efficiently and effectively. In addition to leaks, I also perform regular maintenance on POF heat exchangers and collector boxes to ensure that they are functioning properly. This includes cleaning the surfaces, checking the seals, and replacing any worn or damaged parts. I also provide advice on how to optimize the system's performance and reduce energy consumption. One
