Woke up on a Saturday morning to find out my AC was not working. I bought this just last year. Turned out it was actually the furnace blower. Called the emergency dispatch and despite being full for the day they still came out on that same Saturday. They had to schedule the install of a new furnace on Monday and went and came back with a portable AC so it wasn’t unbearable. Was able to sleep while the rest of the house was 85 or hotter! They showed up Monday as planned and professionally installed it and cleaned up. Great experience!
I am a professional HVAC technician with over 10 years of experience. I recently completed a job for a customer who had a 20-year-old heating and air conditioning system. The system was in need of replacement due to its age and condition. I recommended replacing the system with a new, high-efficiency model that would provide better energy efficiency and lower utility costs. I also provided the customer with an estimate for the replacement, which included the cost of the new system, installation, and any necessary permits. The customer agreed to the replacement and scheduled the installation for the following week.
I arrived at the customer's home and performed a thorough inspection of their air conditioning unit. I checked the temperature split, amps and ohms, wiring, pressures, and radon test. I also sprayed off the coil and performed a thorough cleaning.
I am a skilled professional that works for a Dor-Mar Heating & Air Conditioning company. I recently completed a job where I cleaned condenser coils, changed filters, checked pressures before cleaning and after, and sent an estimate to replace a capacitor.
I was called to a home to perform maintenance on a 30-year-old 100-gallon Sepco tank. The homeowner wanted to flush the boiler, but I explained that boiler flushing is not included in the maintenance plan. The homeowner wanted to cancel the maintenance plan for this property.
Arrived, ran unit in AC and checked for a temperature split, checked amps and ohms on both units, check wiring, check pressures on outside unit, sprayed off coil, did radon test
