I was called to a home to check on a unit that was running fine but had condensation all over the basement. I talked to the customer and found that there was an unrelated issue causing the condensation. I explained to the customer what I found and how to prevent it from happening again.
The client called to report that their AC unit was not working. I arrived at the house and found that the AC unit was an older model and was not working properly. I was able to access the furnace in the crawl space and found that the furnace was not working properly. I was able to repair the furnace and get the AC unit working properly.
Showed up to no cool, no air coming out of specific vent. Could not get. Access to the area of crawlspace where duct was. Unable to perform service for client.

Showed up to down call, client said air would push out but not cold air. Verified airflow to be good across coil, then checked outdoor unit, bad capacitor, old R 22 unit coil rotting at bottom from dog urine. Recommended replacement is best option, emailed client over estimate. Client said they may move forward in the future, but are still paying off a roofing replacement and will need some time.
