Service tech was polite, well knowledge and took his time to explain what the issue was
Drain was clogged. I didn’t realize drain pipe was 20’ long and vacuum is not strong enough. Used air compressor to clear drain and poured 1 gallon of water down drain to check. System is draining and cooling
Installed new control board. Checked operation and I made sure it was heating the water. Customer wanted heater shut off bc he will not be in town till October

Customer had his employees run wire and hook up. Stopped to check wiring and fire system up. Everything is cooling with no error codes
2 of the units were low on refrigerant, one was from age and gauges hooked up over time, the other unit had a loose stem valve. Filled both units up where they need to be, one unit had a capacitor with weak microfared readings, the third unit was perfect with no issues..
System has super slow leak. Checked coils, valves and valve stems. Could not find anything. It has been over 1 year since system had R22 put in. Customer went back to work so I couldn’t collect Old republic wants a second opinion bc I couldn’t find a leak GCY898 auth code
System had bad condensing fan motor. Replaced motor and installed run cap for fan to run. System is cooling
Installed duct work and 5 ton system customer prvided
Ordered new compressor. Freon leaking out of plug area. Compressor is under warranty Installed new compressor. Pressurized system - no leaks. Pulled vacuum. Set charge. System is cooling
Had to do an update on outdoor unit control board. Talked to Rheem tech support and said issue could’ve been caused by brown out on line voltage. If issue happens again we will need to install a line voltage regulator
