I was tasked with creating a magnetic cover for a filter slide. I started by measuring the dimensions of the slide and cutting a piece of magnetic material to fit snugly over it. I then attached the magnetic material to the slide using strong adhesive. Finally, I tested the cover to ensure it was securely attached and functional.
I was called to a home in the middle of winter to repair a furnace that was not working. Upon arrival, I found that the furnace was not producing heat. I checked the furnace and found that the flame sensor was dirty. I cleaned the flame sensor and the furnace started working again.
