I was called to replace a 30-amp double pole breaker in a panel box. The job was located in a residential area and required the removal of the old breaker and the installation of a new one. The new breaker was installed in the same location as the old one and was connected to the same wires. The job was completed in about an hour and the customer was satisfied with the work.
I was called to a home to repair an AC unit that was not cooling. Upon arrival, I found that the AC unit was not cooling due to a tripped circuit breaker. I checked the circuit breaker and found that it was tripped due to a blown fuse. I replaced the fuse and reset the circuit breaker, and the AC unit started cooling again.
I was dispatched to a customer's home to check out a tripped circuit breaker. Upon arrival, I checked the amperage draw and found that it was within normal limits. I advised the customer to call back if the breaker tripped again. I also checked the main breaker and found that it was not tripped. I reset the breaker and the customer was able to use all of her outlets.
