Upon completing the inspection of the washing machine shut-off, I observed that the packing nut was loose. This looseness was likely contributing to a leak that had been present. I promptly tightened the packing nut, which successfully halted the leak. However, upon closer examination, the packing nut appeared to be heavily corroded, indicating that it might not last long under continued use. To address this issue, I provided a detailed quote for replacing the packing nut. The client reviewed the situation and confirmed that no other issues were present. With the leak resolved and the client satisfied, we concluded the service successfully.
I have disconnected the outside unit and will call the customer when he has a VAP coil and furnace set and ready for us to hook it up.
I arrived at the customer's home and performed a thorough inspection of their air conditioning unit. I checked the temperature split, amps and ohms, wiring, pressures, and radon test. I also replaced the air filter and checked the refrigerant levels.
I was called to a home to fix an air leak in the air conditioning unit. When I arrived, I found that the installers had not removed the temporary braces that they had put on the unit. I removed the braces and fixed the air leak. I also noticed that the unit was not level and adjusted the feet to level it out. Finally, I tested the unit to make sure it was working properly.
Ordered 3ton 21in coil the first time out but old republic ‘doesn’t upgrade, they match’.. so whatever size coil was in there is what is covered. I mentioned there being compatibility issues with 2.5ton which is why a 3 ton was ordered, & they said they are going to see what they can do. Please follow up
