I arrived at the maintenance call to check the indoor airflow and amp draws. I found that the outside condenser fan motor amps were higher than the specification, indicating a failure soon. Additionally, the compressor amp draws were high on start-up. The refrigerant side looked good, with a great temperature split inside.
I was called to a home to replace a failed capacitor and test the cooling works. Upon arrival, I found that the capacitor had failed and was causing the air conditioner to not work properly. I replaced the capacitor and tested the cooling works to ensure that it was working correctly. I also checked the electrical wiring and connections to make sure that they were all secure. After completing the repairs, I tested the air conditioner to make sure that it was cooling the house effectively. The customer was very satisfied with the work and thanked me for my help.
The customer called to report a low refrigerant level in their home's arrival system. I arrived at the scene and found a wasp nest inside the unit. I informed the customer that the nest needed to be removed before we could proceed with the leak search. The customer agreed to have a professional exterminator remove the nest. I then proceeded to the roof to locate the leak.
I am a highly skilled home service professional who recently completed a routine maintenance job on an air conditioning unit. During the inspection, I verified the outdoor condenser straws, refrigerant levels, and cleanliness, and found no issues. I also checked inside the unit and found no problems. The client wanted to acquire an outlet that was not working, so I checked the outlet and discussed the possibility of a break in the wire going back to the panel. The client was cooling well.
Fixed trunk, and flex, also drained all water out.
Showed up to no cool, discovered that drain had been clogged, which caused water to leak down on duct board trunk run, which rotted the duct board, and disconnected a stat collar, need install crew to come out and replace section of duct board, and make sure coil is no longer leaking. If coil is leaking, talk to customer about coil replacement.
Arrived, found unit low on charge, put 410a in system and turned blower speed down
