Responded to no-heat call for ICP 80% furnace (28 years old). Upon inspection, identified multiple cracks in both burners and the heat exchanger. Due to significant safety concerns, performed a safety shutdown of the system. Visually demonstrated the damage to customer's daughter and explained the critical hazards. Recommended consultation with comfort advisor regarding replacement options due to equipment age and safety issues.
