Diagnosed and resolved whistling noise issue from basement backflow prevention device. Upon inspection, determined the pressure reducing valve (PRV) located above the street side shut-off was causing the squealing sound. Made necessary adjustments to the valve until noise was eliminated, confirming proper system operation.
