Responded to service call for water leak at mixing valve assembly above water heater. Inspection revealed corroding copper pipe fitting and loose unions at the mixing valve. Removed affected union, replaced deteriorated gasket on flow side of mixing valve, and properly resealed connections to resolve the leak issue.
