Responded to a service call for a non-functioning boiler serving in-floor heat in shop area. Diagnostic testing confirmed igniter functionality and proper gas pressure, but combustion failure persisted. Inspection revealed a dead bird obstructing the exhaust vent, preventing proper ventilation. Disassembled exhaust components, removed blockage, and reassembled system. Upon restart, boiler ignited and operated normally. System includes wall-mounted tankless unit with copper distribution piping and PEX manifold configuration for radiant floor heating.
