Responded to emergency service call for high CO levels. Discovered intake was completely plugged with ice and both intake/exhaust improperly terminated. Replaced incorrect pressure switches which were allowing furnace to operate with obstructed intake. Found significant mineral buildup in exhaust pipe and determined heat exchanger may be partially plugged. Emergency furnace replacement scheduled due to safety concerns.
