Responded to service call for smart toilet overflowing and leaking from base. Upon inspection, discovered main 4-inch drain line was completely blocked at transition to cast iron pipe. Observed significant deterioration at pipe connection point. Cut open pipe to drain standing water, then made temporary repair to restore functionality. Submitted bid for permanent repair solution due to observed corrosion and deterioration of cast iron waste pipe junction.
