Responded to service call for water softener leak. Discovered leak at bypass valve on main floor softener unit. Removed the leaking water softener and looped the existing 3/4" PEX lines together to maintain system functionality. Note: property was originally a duplex with dual softener systems; second softener remains in place and operational.
