Diagnosed and resolved heating complaint by identifying thermostat was reading 3°F lower than actual room temperature due to cold air infiltration through wall penetration behind unit. Installed foam insulation behind thermostat to seal air leak, resulting in accurate temperature readings. Increased boiler maximum water temperature from 174°F to 182°F to improve heating capacity during extreme cold conditions.
