Diagnosed and resolved no-heat issue with Goodman high-efficiency furnace. Customer's Nest thermostat was backfeeding power through Y-wire attempting to charge its battery, preventing proper heating cycle operation. Though system had functioned with only four wires for years, installed new thermostat wire with common connection to resolve compatibility issues. Verified proper system operation after installation with successful heating cycle.
