I was called to a client's home to perform a plumbing maintenance check. The client had been religiously flushing their water heater, but it was 10 years old and needed to be replaced. The water lines were copper, and the drain line was a mixture of ABS and PVC. The client also requested a quote to replace their kitchen faucet, which they had supplied. I inspected the water heater and found that it was in good condition, but the client decided to replace it with a new one. I also replaced the kitchen faucet with a new one that the client had chosen.
