Upon arrival, the thermostat indicated a call for heat, but the furnace circuit board displayed an idle code. I reset the power, and the system began to operate. I then tightened the low voltage connection on the circuit board and checked the thermostat connections, replacing the thermostat batteries. The system resumed normal operation. The air filter is due for replacement, and the customer agreed to purchase and install a new one.
