Showed up to a no heat call, found that system‘s gas valve had failed. Took a look into system to ensure no further damages if repairs is to be made, and found crack in heat exchanger Warranting immediate action. Cracked Heat exchangers have the potential to leak out carbon monoxide and also have the potential to present fire risks. System was red tagged due to concerns, and information was being sent over to homeowner to decide what to do. From what we can find, that heat exchanger is no longer available. And would mean that system would need to be replaced
