I was called to a home to repair a heating and cooling system. Upon arrival, I found that the outdoor temperature sensor was unplugged, causing the unit to enter a soft lockout. I fixed the sensor system and the unit fired up and started running. I then shut the unit back off and scheduled a time and material job to replace two auto bleeder valves and the Watts auto fill valve. I also informed the customer that the outdoor temperature sensor was unplugged and that they should schedule a service call to have it fixed.
