Today, we were called to address an issue in the basement. While waterproofing contractors were working, they discovered a collapsed drain line. This line connects only to the kitchen faucet and the washing machine drain. Upon inspection, I noticed a section of galvanized pipe beneath the floor. Running the water revealed movement, confirming the leak's location. To fully expose the line, we had to jackhammer slightly more. The client was informed about the possibility of further collapse further down the line. Our focus was on ensuring the line was properly exposed and assessed for any additional damage.
