I was called to a home to replace a furnace. When I arrived, I found that the indoor control board was shot and the indoor AC coil was cracked and heat exchanger was over camping on start up. I checked the outside and found that the condenser was over camping on start up. The client wanted just the furnace replaced, so I gave them a price on a bare-bones unit. The client said they would shop around for a cheaper unit and if we were the cheapest, they would call us.
