I was called to a home to replace a defrost thermistor. The unit had been having issues with the freezer not freezing properly. After inspecting the unit, I determined that the defrost thermistor was faulty. I advised the homeowner to let the unit defrost for 24 hours to allow the unit to catch up. After the unit had defrosted, I tested the thermistor and it was working properly. The homeowner was happy with the service and thanked me for my help.
