The client had a drain line and galvanized pipe that needed to be taken back and capped. The drain line was 4 ft and 4 in. long and was made of galvanized, ABS PVC, and cast iron. I informed the client that the best thing to do would be to replace it all with PVC. The client understood and agreed to have the section capped off for now. I informed the client that the clogs would start to be more persistent as the cast iron and galvanized pipe was enclosing on itself and would have to be replaced pretty soon. The client agreed but wished for us to take off the section that was overflowing the cap.
