I was called to a home to repair a leaking 3-in PVC vent line. Upon inspection, I found that the switch was not in the right position, causing the leak. I tested the line and found that it was working fine. However, there were other issues that I noticed, such as a belly in the vent line that could be holding water, and vents or pipes that were tucked back in a corner and close to a window. I informed the customer of these issues and advised them to call back if they encountered any further problems.
