I was called to a home to diagnose and repair a system that was short cycling and flashing a code 3. Upon arrival, I found that the system had low pressure and was freezing. I added a slight charge to the system to bring the pressure above freezing. I then tapped on the valve body and retested the system. The system is now running properly. If the customer has any more issues, we will have to replace the lev valve body.
