Responded to no-heat call for 2-year-old furnace displaying Code 57 (pressure switch open). Discovered vacuum pressure at -1.6 inches on pressure switch rated for -0.8 inches. Reset furnace which temporarily restored operation, but unit tripped again during diagnostic testing. Determined faulty pressure switch requiring replacement. Noted customer had previously replaced thermostat and corrected exterior venting issues.
