Furnace tuneup rusty vents are not from furnace could be high humidity issue or dog peeing issue not sure.
The furnace failed a visual inspection. Corrosion was found around the joints on the heat exchanger. I tested CO concentration in the exhaust and found 1752 ppm of CO. The furnace is not safe to operate. I turned the furnace off
Furnace was having intermittent issues. We found no flame signal on start up. We replaced the flame sensor and now have a good flame signal. Checked temp rise. Cycled furnace operation. The furnace is working properly at this time
Duct clean and sanitize system. Installed patriot UV. Also made the homeowner aware that the inducer motor sounds bad and could fail at any time
Ac tune up. Checked filter ok.Deep cleaned outdoor unit. Checked charge with jacket. Good. Capacitor is good. Contactor contacts are pitted and will fail eventually. Customer decided to replace today. Replaced contactor. Cycled system on/off. Unit is running properly at this time. Thank you! Eric W.
The inducer was continuously running. I found the gas valve was not opening and the boiler was not heating. I replaced the gas valve and set up for l.p. operation. The boiler is working properly. 2 zone valves have the end switches disconnected and 1 other has a bad motor. The homeowner uses the boiler as back up heat only and is not concerned with the zone valves at this time
Ac tune up. Deep cleaned outdoor coil. Very dirty. Contractor pitted and will fail inevitably. Replaced under warranty. All other components check out ok. Charge is good. Cycled unit on/off. System is happy. Customer would like a quote on replacing broken hose bib and main shut off valve.
Recovered 410A from system, disconnected high and low voltage wires from condenser. Removed condenser from current location and put in garage with pad until reinstalation date. Breaker is off and disconnect flipped. Lines tape up. 7/8x38 line set.
Cleaned and checked furnace found heat exchanger has leaks from transition pipes has of CO leak can see green rings forming on 4 pipes inside unit is working but should be replaced at this point due to safety comcerns.
Arrived for a no heat. Found that the unit would not ignite every time due to the burners being rusted. I replaced the burners and flame sensor. I also adjusted gas pressure. Unit is now operational. Warranty.
Found code 207 on arrival bad igniter checked ohms over 520 k ohms way high replaced igniter read 52 ohms out box normal ran unit now working properly at this time.
