Responded to customer report of booster fan making rattling noises, causing insufficient heating in upper level of residence. Upon inspection, discovered booster fan piping was inadequately secured, with motor vibrating against floor joist in ceiling cavity. Corrective action included readjusting the motor position and installing additional securing points for the ductwork to eliminate vibration. System now operating properly with no further rattling observed.
