Responded to a return service call to install a relief valve on customer's boiler system. Successfully installed the relief valve and performed a complete system bleed, but noted the boiler was still overheating due to poor water circulation. Inspection revealed the circulator pump was operational but ineffective, with a potentially defective ball valve above the pump that may have a broken shaft preventing proper opening/closing. Recommended further diagnosis by a boiler specialist.
