I am a skilled professional that works for a Dor-Mar Heating & Air Conditioning company. I was called to a customer's home to diagnose a noise issue with their furnace. Upon inspection, I found that the noise was coming from the inducer motor. I explained to the customer that the furnace they have is a Bryant plus 90, which has had problems with secondary heat exchangers rusting, clogging, and getting holes that leak carbon monoxide in the home. Based on the age of the furnace and the fact that it is a Bryant plus 90, I highly recommend replacing the system. I took a carbon monoxide reading in the supply and found that it was 0ppm. I also emailed estimates over for furnace replacement options. The estimate for the new inducer motor will also be sent over.
