Renew CCC program. Performed air conditioner tuneup on. Owner changes 16x25x4. 57 degrees outside. 40/5 capacitor with hard start kit. All amp draws and drains look good . Superheat was 6 degrees should be 9. All okay at this time. Thanks Mark and Paul.
Performed prepaid air conditioner tuneup on older R22 style unit. 16x25x1 filter looks good. 50/5 capacitor good. Subcool 14 degrees and amp draw on indoor and outdoor all within specs. Changed drain lines. Outside temp 50 degrees at time of inspection. All appears okay at this time. Thanks Mark and Paul.
Callback for no heat. Found unit sooted up. Cleaned electrodes, nozzle, and adjusted electrodes. System fired up. After runtime of 30 minutes, found high levels of CO leaking into home. 15PPM of CO out of bedroom registers - unsafe operation. Turned unit off and informed customer. Will have Ian from Pat’s Heating contact customer for replacement options. Thanks Mike. Note: Ian will be in touch as soon as possible.
Arrived on site and checked over system. Replaced oil filter and nozzle. Bled lines. Started unit up and watched unit run. All back up and running at this time. Relayed information to customer. All checks good at this time. Thanks Dave
Replaced plugged oil burner nozzle. Clean and adjusted electrodes. Run test several times and checked burner and flame. Customer wants to set up tuneup scheduled for summer.
