Found kitchen backed up ran medium machine through kitchen unplugged kitchen found kitchen water had backed up floor drain by furnace downstairs also ran medium machine through three in floor drain unplugged back up tested both kitchen and floor drain all is draining at this point.
Main line burst under slab of home. Recommend customer to call city of Fitchburg to either fix issue or give recommendations on repair.
Installed new 12” frost proof hosebib due to old faucet leaking from burst body. Reconnected new bib to existing 1/2 copper with 1/2 pex piping to allow more flow & longer heath than copper piping. Ran tests after installation. Good to go. No leaks.
Estimate on removing sink in back room, cap off supply lines as well as drain, take old sink relocate it in the very back room and plumb it where lockers are, remove lockers put sink there plum in for hot cold, and drain, which is accessible and would involve cutting out drywall for the massage chair and face it outward he would like that to be facing out still on the same wall as well as relocating supply lines and PVC drain, have a picture of right side of bathroom he would like another sink installed there which would require cutting into bathroom wall and plumbing in to pre-existing sink and drain in bathroom. Then last he would like four chairs hooked up with supplies, hot and cold and installed a pump to pump pre-existing water into discharge pipe this wouls require substantial amount of accessing walls as well as running water supply lines and electricity for each chairI will sit down with general manager to discuss our options..
Remove mixing valve which was leaking out the bottom have pictures.which in doing so had to remove blower as well while removing mixing valve. I also inspected dip tube, which is in good shape. Reinstalled I then add a new copper and one three-quarter inch shark bite. Turn water back on for unit and we will test to see if it has continuous hot water if not, we have a crossover somewhere in the house.
Inspected water heater and found they have a mixing valve that is bad on water heater, it is only five years old from capital customer said he’s going to call capital due to warranty. we then inspected toilets phone to supply lines to replace everything else is good
Plugged in and put softener in service. Turned water on at house. Bleed all air out of fixtures. Turned water heater on. Everything looks good.
Chain snapped on flapper. Replaced flapper. Water line a little low, adjusted fill valve to fill tank higher. Ran auger down toilet and cleared blockage. Flushed a dozen times. Toilet works properly. Warranty.
Foam insulation in tank is bubbling and deforming causing the flapper to be obstructed in both flushing and seating. Removed foam from tank on front facing side and tested for leaks. Replaced flapper and fill valve at customer’s request and tightened packing nut on toilet shut off.
Unit inducer seized in front of me and failed, provided an inducer quote, replaced filter and inducer, cleaned flame sensor, cleared trap, tested unit, and unit is no longer making noise.
I was called to a home with no gas or water meter, and limited power. I found and fixed four frozen/split sections of baseboards. The system still wasn't pressurizing, so I couldn't get into rooms #2, 3, or 4 of the address.
Customers disposal is working as it should. Downstairs bar sink in unclogged. Replaced downstairs bathroom toilet flapper and saw no bleed by. All is good.
Installed action provided Moen single handle kitchen faucet with sprayer due to old faucet leaking from base. Ran tests after install. Cold supply line in bathroom extremely loose, tightened down nut to stop leak from happening. Ran tests on rest of faucet.
D&R bath fan. It was an odd ball fan. I came with replacement but it wouldn’t work due to the height of it. I ran to Menards to get a new one and the new one had a bent shaft and rubbed inside the housing. I had to run to Menards a second time and then was able to install without any issues. Tested and functional when I left.
