Performed prepaid air conditioner tuneup. 38 degrees when tested. 20x25x4 filter is good. Changed drain lines. Everything checked out properly at this time.
Technician: Brady I performed an AC tune-up and Maintenance. The 20x25x4 filter looks good; the customer replaced it. I cleared the evaporator drain, cleaned the inside of the condenser cabinet, inspected the wiring, and checked that the capacitor was within specs. I washed the condenser unit thoroughly. Everything looks good at this time.
Arrived on site checked over system unit was locked out checked control boards to make sure there were OK no damage due to mice or any critters. Reset system test ran in heating and cooling modes. Both are working properly. Need to contact Fujitsu to find out what the lockout code was because the troubleshooting guy does not have codes in the system.. unit is up and running and OK at this time

Compressor amps- .6 Condenser motor amps- .7 Filter- ok (owner replaces) This system is 25 years old. It is on its last leg. The capacitor was blown. It allowed the system to start up, but after I took it out to show owner, once re installed it started the compressor but not the fan. Went over options with homeowner and stated that putting the cost of a new capacitor into a system that is already barely running is not a good idea. Spoke with Ian about setting up a time to come out here to give a quote on a new air conditioner. He will be in touch to set up a date to do so. Until then the unit is not functioning due to bad capacitor. Thank you, Jake. Office
