Tech- Jacob Refrigerant type- 410a Suction line pressure- 103 Suction line temp- 45 Liquid line pressure- 215 Liquid line temp- 65 Superheat- 13 Subcool- 8 Return temp- 63 Supply temp- 45 Temp drop across coil- 18 Dual capacitor specs- 45/5 +\-6% Dual capacitor actual- 42.2/4.9 (failing) also terminals were very rough and corroded. Compressor amps- .70 Condenser motor amps-5.73 Filter- 16x25x4 (good) System is from 2008. While there were no signs of leaks in the system, the system is definitely showing its sign of age. The capacitor was failing and the wire that connects the capacitor to the contactor was fried. This could be from a couple different issues but one of the concerning ones is the compressor is starting to over amp. Showed owner the bad capacitor and went over options. He would just like to replace capacitor at this point in time. Replaced capacitor and test ran and all operations are normal at this time. Thank you, Jake.
