Diagnosed and repaired a condensate drain leak at the base of the 1.5-year-old furnace that was causing water pooling and early corrosion. Disassembled the improperly sealed drain joint, shortened the pipe to improve drainage slope, and properly sealed the connection with silicone adhesive. Verified repair by testing water flow through the system with no further leakage observed.
