Responded to gas leak issue where Xcel had previously tagged and shut off meter. Performed pressure test on gas line, identified faulty gastite fitting with rounded flare as source of leak. Re-flared and replaced fitting, verified system integrity through extended pressure test and soap bubble testing of all connections. System now holding pressure properly; coordinated with city inspector who approved test results and reconnected gas line to meter. Awaiting Xcel to restore gas service.
