We came out today and meet with the customer at his home to look at having a new 240v range circuit installed. The customer is going from a gas stove to all electric and at the existing setup is a gas line and a 120v duplex receptacle. Due to the home being two stories and the panel in the garage the only option was to install conduit outside of the home and as low as possible. After walking the homeowner through what needed to be done he agreed to have the work completed. We removed the gas stove and put it in the garage and capped off the gas line. We cut in a new 2g box and fed a 6/3 wire outside to the junction box. We installed a new 4 pin range receptacle with a new plate. We installed new conduit and junction boxes on the outside of the home all the way back to the panel and installed a 6/3 from the the junction box outside, in through the wall and into the panel.
