Hubert was very knowledgeable and professional and provided many options/solutions to what we were needing done.
Jason and his helper Vincent did a great job. They were knowledgeable, respectful and friendly. The price was a bit more than I expected, even with a bit of a complex install, but that’s not their fault as they don’t set the pricing.
The guys were awesome, knowledgeable, friendly and fast

Run new circuit for mini split Install new AC disconnect with whip
Performed 1 system diagnostic for whole home. Unit is zoned. Zone board failed, upstairs thermostat is also failed, zone damper hot, blower motor drawing high amps, dirty blower wheel, growth in the air handler , no flood protection. Due to age of unit and cost of repairs would recommend adding IAQ replacement of full system. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Troubleshoot doorbell transformer buzzing and improper voltage to ring doorbell. While troubleshooting I noticed that the Tesla wall charger was on a 60 amp breaker and it hat romex rated at 55 amps feeding it. It is recommended to either use #6 SEU cable or #4 Romex for proper wire rating. The only alternative to not using the proper wire is to replace the 60 amp breaker with a 50 amp breaker and change the settings on the Tesla app so that it charges at a lower amperage and a slower speed. We have given quotes to correct these issues. The homeowner stated it should still be under warranty. As for the doorbell we replaced the 10-16va transformer with a 24-30 va transformer and added the voltage stabilizer that wasn’t installed with the original installation. We also re installed the existing chime. Everything tested and working properly.
Upon arrival I spoke with a customer about an experience they had with an electrical event during the recent storms where the lights were dimming and brightening, as well as multiple lights that went out. In addition to this, the smoke and carbon alarm system has been nuisance tripping. After agreeing to the diagnostics, I started by inspecting the panel, checking all of the connections to make sure they were tight, inspecting the protector, inspecting all of the breakers, as well as searching for any irregularities inside of the panel. A surge protection device is installed on this home. It was installed inside the main panel. From my understanding this home was built after 2020 and should be designed to current code. The surge protector installed is of a contractor grade. Although it is a type two in meets minimum requirements, it is not of a grade that I would recommend to a customer. Attached should be photos of the current search protector, the surge protector we offer, as well as
Performed free quality check. Homecare member that we have done repairs for was having some cooling issues during thunder storm and wanted unit checked. Found no system was operating upon arrival. The refrigerant pressures were good. All components were operating; except I did find a capacitor that was outside of the manufacturer’s specifications. After getting homeowners approval; I replaced the capacitor and verified that the hvac system was operating at the end of service call.
