We had heard of TE Certified on WSB radio and checked their reviews and needed 6 receptacle repairs completed so we scheduled an appointment for a diagnostic / quote. John, the TE certified electrician made contact and was available to arrive a little earlier than the initial window provided. Upon arrival we explained the 6 needed outlet repairs to a house built in 1996. As we walked the house and identified the locations he explained specific requirements related to each issue and how he would have to trouble shoot the issue. He did his review and provided the initial project quote. John then went about troubleshooting each location issue and as mentioned previously, the house was built in 1996, he identified additional issues that we previously thought may have been an issue but the switch or outlet appeared to be functioning correctly but in reality was in process of failing due to the methods used in 1996 backstabbing versus pigtailing or Shepard’s hook. This added to the scope of the project and cost but also removed any concern moving forward with a potential arc issue that could cause a fire. John was thorough in diagnosing each issue and provided updates as to when each location/fault was corrected. The job ended up taking about 5 hours but was finished completely. Upon completion he thoroughly cleaned up any wiring debris from each area he worked as well as vacuumed the carpeted areas around the different work zones. On the post repair walk thru he made sure he explained/ repeated the locations that had new GFCI outlets and what appliances would be affected if the outlet was tripped. This was important because the refrigerator was one such appliance and you don’t want to think your refrigerator is broken and call for a repair if it was simply the receptacle requiring reset. We would recommend John from TE Certified to address any electrical concerns you may have on your house.

Excellent same day service! I called TE Certified at 9am and Arlon the technician arrived a little before noon. He thoroughly diagnosed my problem and fixed it on the spot. He was fully loaded with everything he needed to get the job done. TE Certified is my go-to electrician. When the lights in our house were flickering, I booked a same-day appointment online. Electricians Payton W. and Javier diagnosed a major issue with the electrical line coming into my house and called Georgia Power for repairs. They also identified several safety concerns with our aging breaker panel, which we suspected needed replacement. They installed two new breaker panels with thoroughness, attention to detail, and professionalism. Payton explained technical issues in an easy-to-understand way. They cleaned up meticulously. The invoice was very detailed, well-written, and included before-and-after pictures. I’m so impressed with TE Certified that I plan switch to them for HVAC and plumbing.

Replaced four straight stops in the second floor, double vanity sink.
Provide two power drops in kitchen area
Replaced meter. The meter was faulty bonding screws was not tight and was arcing. The the screws eroded from arcing to the threads wouldn’t tighten properly. When dryer or a/c unit would turn on the lights would dim all the way out. A phase of panel would reach 160v and B phase would drop to 60v. Power is restored and working properly. Permit to be requested MONDAY morning and inspection of work upon availability of inspecting office.
No cool call for basement unit. Upon arrival, noticed that blower was running but the outdoor unit was not. After further investigation, I found that the outdoor disconnect had been pulled out because the condenser has no refrigerant and the dual capacitor is bad. Contactor is pitted as well. On the inside, the blower wheel and the filter are very dirty. I offered a nitrogen leak search to find the leak but the homeowner was busy planning a party so she couldn’t decide whether to invest into a 13 year old system or replace. I will follow up on Monday.
Performed HomeCare routine maintenance inspection on 8 y/o 2-zone Carrier system that operates for whole house. Furnace located in walk-in attic. Checked amp draws. Cleaned flame sensor. Cleared pressure switch tubing. Replaced inducer motor under warranty. Performed blower wheel cleaning. Added water protection. Cleared drain line. Replaced 16x25x1 filter. Recommend iWave-R Air Ionizer for air purification. Pressure levels were normal. Replaced 1-pole contactor. Other condenser electrical components are good. Coils are clean. System is currently working.
Upon arrival, found that the line set for main floor was freezing up due to low refrigerant. Frozen line set thawed out and caused some of the duct work to get wet (exterior only). Leak checked the evaporator coil and condenser. I only found the Schrader valve leaking. Homeowner approved replacing it and adding refrigerant. Homeowner also approved replacing failing run capacitor, dual capacitor, and contactor.

Tech completed a 2 system inspection. Customer replaced own filters x2 16x25x1. Tech tightened all connection and checked all furnace safeties. Upstairs pvc drain line needs to be cleared, duct cleaning is needed, flue pipe replacement is needed safety switch at furnaces needs to be up to code. Install caseta smart switch for flood lights
Home care visit for house with two systems. Both filters clean, did not change today. Cleaned flame sensors, cleared inducer draft ports, cleared drain lines with mighty pump, poured treatment down drain lines, cleaned both condenser coils, replaced capacitor for upstairs unit condenser, installed blue tube uv light in upstairs unit. Neither system has a wet switch, so left insufficient flood protection note. Both systems working well in heat and cool.
