We had heard of TE Certified on WSB radio and checked their reviews and needed 6 receptacle repairs completed so we scheduled an appointment for a diagnostic / quote. John, the TE certified electrician made contact and was available to arrive a little earlier than the initial window provided. Upon arrival we explained the 6 needed outlet repairs to a house built in 1996. As we walked the house and identified the locations he explained specific requirements related to each issue and how he would have to trouble shoot the issue. He did his review and provided the initial project quote. John then went about troubleshooting each location issue and as mentioned previously, the house was built in 1996, he identified additional issues that we previously thought may have been an issue but the switch or outlet appeared to be functioning correctly but in reality was in process of failing due to the methods used in 1996 backstabbing versus pigtailing or Shepard’s hook. This added to the scope of the project and cost but also removed any concern moving forward with a potential arc issue that could cause a fire. John was thorough in diagnosing each issue and provided updates as to when each location/fault was corrected. The job ended up taking about 5 hours but was finished completely. Upon completion he thoroughly cleaned up any wiring debris from each area he worked as well as vacuumed the carpeted areas around the different work zones. On the post repair walk thru he made sure he explained/ repeated the locations that had new GFCI outlets and what appliances would be affected if the outlet was tripped. This was important because the refrigerator was one such appliance and you don’t want to think your refrigerator is broken and call for a repair if it was simply the receptacle requiring reset. We would recommend John from TE Certified to address any electrical concerns you may have on your house.

Today I replaced the flapper and the fuel valve in the upstairs bathroom the daughters bathroom. It’s the only low rise toilet left in the house. Also gave estimates on several other items the customer had questions about
Diagnosed issue causing loss of power at kitchen outlets Replaced several bath fans with Panasonic fans/fan light combos Installed whole home surge protectors at both electrical panels
Customer called us out for a shower drain in main floor bathroom that was intermittently backing up. Upon arriving I tested all fixtures and found no indications of a blockage. Performed drain clearing for peace of mind and also provided a bottle of Endure drain cleaner.
Today I replaced the master bathroom toilet and the half bath toilet. They were replaced with a Kohler Highline Pressure assist. I inspected both toilet flanges and they are in good shape. Home is approximately 6 yrs old. Tested both toilets and showed customer.
For this job, I did a leak troubleshoot for Mr. Lee his water. Main service is fine. He has a leak under the slab which is the main cold supply for the downstairs bathroom, kitchen and washing machine groups..

Lights on front porch, foyer and dining room not working. Breaker faulty and need to be replaced. Recommend replacing service or panel replacement due to main disconnect not outside and age of panel (30 years). Can also do panel restoration in which we exchange the old breakers with new ones.

Drain were partially clogged on today’s home care visit. Changed customer supplied air filters. Treated drains with enzymes and cleared with mighty pump. Changed bad capacitor. Refrigerant levels good and all other components running good. Flood protection does not exist for 2 ton system and is not to our standards on 3 ton system.
For this job, we worked on installing dimmer switches throughout the home. Some bulbs may flicker due to not being dimmable rated bulbs, homeowner was notified and they will replace if needed.
Minor repair on kitchen faucet. Reconnected spout to faucet and readjusted supply line to prevent issue from reoccurring. Adjusted weight to ensure proper function.
