Nathan showed up on time and did an excellent job. I really appreciated him giving estimates for different smoke detectors and explaining the differences. He installed the ones I selected, tested them, and spent time explaining how they work. He also inspected the electrical panel and made recommendations. Customer called because the garbage disposal was not operating and it stop working To to age of unit. When tech arrived technician noticed that was the problem ,also customer had a back up at the master shower and kitchen due to garbage disposal not working. Technician installed anew badger 1/2 hp garbage disposal in kitchen and also took care of the clogged shower.
Customer said she heard a gurgle in the tub whenever she flushed the toilet in the master bathroom, upon arrival I tested the upstairs mainline to see if I could replicate the noise, and I wasn’t able to replicate the noise, but I did pinpoint that one toilet was not filling properly, so I gave her the option to replace that fill valve and after replacing it, the toilet is now filling, and after flushing a few times we still couldn’t replicate the noise that she was hearing. I’ll let her know if it keeps happening in the future to give us a call will come out and further investigate, but everything was fine with the main line after I ran all of my test
Replaced the ceiling fan in the upstairs bedroom. Panels were checked and I noticed a lack of surge protection at the main and sub panel and I also noticed double tapped neutrals in the main. The homeowner did not want me to write up options for repairs so none were given.
Installed 50 gallon gas power vent water heater, expansion tank and PRV
Provide and install 240v in-wall heater unit. Install 2-pole 20amp breaker. Everything tested and working properly. No drywall had to be cut.
Tankless troubleshoot- CODE 10 1- inspection of exhaust vent and air intake vent. Exhaust was great, air intake has lint/debris partially covering the intake cover. 2- inspection of burner- burner is clean and in perfect working order 3- inspection of condensation drain, it is working perfectly 4= water flow, with no yearly maintenance, I guarantee the water flow is less than expected. Maintenance will not help 5- gas flow. Only reading 4.6 inches of water column. 7.0 is required
Tech arrived to problem call for entire home. Homeowner had purchased home recently and had concerns over humidity. Humidity levels in home are roughly 20% in home and was interested in humidifier. Both systems are located in attic and humidifier installation in attics are not recommended. Spoke about IAQ options concerning home and homeowner agreed to add APCO X and EAC filters to both systems. Tech added IAQ products to systems and verified options after repairs. Explained how products work, in case of issue concerning UV lights in home and how to change filters. Systems are operational. Homeowner declined options concerning flood protection. Troubleshooting a fan not working properly, controller has failed and needs to be replaced.
Customer originally called because their toilet was leaking could not get any leaks to occur from the toilet. The tank tub bowl boats were slightly loose. I tightened them and customer requested if I could re-caulk the toilet, which I did customer then elected to move forward with halo H2 zero install Which has been fully installed today and is soaking for 24 to 48 hours. I will return on Monday in order to perform the activation procedure and turn on the filtered water to the house.
Customer has an outdoor kitchen with an older faucet that needed replacement. Homeowner supplied a new faucet and requested installation only. Today we removed the existing outdoor faucet and installed the customer-provided faucet. All connections were secured, unit was tested for proper operation, and no leaks were present at this time. Faucet is functioning properly.
Replaced cartridges in Roman tub faucet in master. Fixed leak in tub overflow by replacing gasket and removed sharkbites on hot and cold risers for said tub.
Inducer motor seized. Confirmed blower operation. Also found filter drier was removed from system by a previous company and should have one installed. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
