Leak in basement ceiling showing. Investigated leak without opening drywall. Back storage has access to master bathroom tub drain. Ran multiple fixtures and the leak never occurred. We filled the bathtub up to the waste overflow and it began leaking. Once drained I notice the overflow cover was extremely loose leaking past the gasket seal.
Install two customer supplied faucets in bathroom upstairs left quote for customer supply tub, and shower valve. All work was tested and documented with pictures.
Performed 1 system diagnostic for main/ upstairs unit. Found unit frozen, unit has rusted coil, dirty blower wheel, low on charge, failed capacitors inside and out, pitted contactor. Due to the age of unit and nature of failures recommend replacing system. Options for repairs are not available due to the type of refrigerant. Unit is non operational. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
