Prompt & Excellent Service

I had a leak spring up under my bathroom sink & needed a “reputable” plumbing company. TE Certified came highly recommended & I was able to schedule service quickly to work around my crazy schedule. Not only was Mike very polite & knowledgeable, he pointed out some other problematic areas of my sink with recommendations as to how to repair them. I did not believe he was upcharging me as I could quickly verify from the internet the veracity of his claim. I highly recommend this company & have added their contact information to my speed dial.

Troubleshoot electrical issue. ISSUE: outlets not working LOCATION: kitchen and bedroom FINDINGS: painter hooked up an outlet in the kitchen, he hooked the ground to the hot, the neutral to the ground, and the hot to the neutral. This caused the fault breaker to trip, causing power to be lost throughout those rooms. RESOLUTION: install new box with outlet turn power back on everything is tested and functioning properly.

Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. Upon arrival customer stated her thermostats are not consistently keeping the house at the temperature it is set to. The wiring in the zone board seems correct and the zone dampers are opening when called to do so. Noticed the liquid was colder than the suction line and sweating in the attic. The system is zoned, but has a psc blower motor instead of an ecm motor. Blower wheel is dirty. Drain line does not have the correct pitch. There is lots of biological growth in the system. The condenser motor is hot to the touch. The reversing valve is bad. Gave options to repair and to get a quote to replace. Homeowner wants to get a quote to replace, but she’s very busy this week and won’t have time to get that quote until next week.

Homeowner had us out today because they noticed a wet spot on the ceiling and is concerned about a water leak. Upon arrival, we noticed that there is a seven year old split system inside the home. We noticed that the indoor system did not have any flood protection. We recommended adding Iwave air purifier and electrostatic filter. On the outside system, we noticed that the coil was very dirty and the drain did not extend far enough from the home and was leaking on the foundation. We also make sure that the drain was clear and free of debris. Homeowner approved to have drain extended, coil, cleaning, and adding a wet switch to the system.

Customer has 11 y/o 2-zone Nordyne heat pump system that operates for whole house. System was not cooling properly due to damaged low voltage wiring causing reversing valve to not engage in cooling. Rewired thermostats, zone control board, and defrost control board. Tested system from both thermostats. Pressure levels were normal. Condenser electrical components are fair. Water protection is poor. Blower wheel cleaning needed. Significant presence of mold within air handler. Recommend UV BlueTube to target and prevent mold. Replaced 16x20x1 filter. System is currently working.

Miss Rivas had us out today because her furnace kept tripping the breaker. After inspection of the furnace found the blower motor was bad. The indoor transformer was only giving 22 V which is bad and the outdoor contactor was bad, causing the fuse to blow. Upon presenting distant customer, customer agreed to have my Band-Aid repair. Changed out capacitor and blower motor for upstairs new contactor outside. Upon starting this back up, system had wires that had been moved and was not wired up properly corrected issue. Customer is satisfied and system is running perfectly.
