Elijah was professional, polite and prompt, quickly assessed the issues, expertly fixed the issues and did not over charge or add unnecessary work. Washer shut off valve leaking from the stem. I shut off the water and drained the system, removed the faulty shut off valves and replaced. Turned on the water and pressurized the water system. Reconnected the washer. Tested with no leaks.
Performed 2 system inspection. Homeowner signed up for the homecare. Main floor system was low on refrigerant. Home owner had us add the missing refrigerant. A leak search maybe needed if the system becomes low on refrigerant again. Homeowner declined updated flood protection. Systems were operating at the end of service call. Flushed drains lines and used the might pump.
Replaced an existing fixture in the dining room, for a new h/o provided fixture. Estimate was given to replace 9 outside sconces
Tech arrived to no cooling call for upstairs system. System is approximately 5 years old and not cooling according to customer. Inspect system. Door was off unit as homeowner attempted to self diagnose. Found system to be blowing low voltage fuses when cooling comes in. Checked wiring and found a small short on Y circuit. Traced to outdoor unit and found exposed low voltage wiring at outdoor unit, bare wire resting against copper. Removed wiring and tested, system didn’t short anymore. While on site noticed gas line is not up to code, lacks water safety, and flue pipe is incorrect. Gave customer recommendations. Customer agreed only to wiring repair. Replaced low voltage wiring outside and verified operations after repair. Made notice of flood protection. System is operational. Thank you for letting TE CERTIFIED service your home.
HVAC inspection for home with a 2021 Goodman Air Handler and a 2023 Goodman Heat Pump. Changed and dated 20x25x1 filter. Evap coil and condenser coil clean. Blower wheel decent. All amp draws normal. Capacitor strong. System does not have flood protection. Refrigerant pressures normal. Poured treatment down drain line, drain line clear and condensate pump working. Biological growth in and on air handler. Recommend adding medical grade uv light to permanently rid system of growth. Ducts dirty, also left estimate for duct cleaning.
Replaced bad defrost board, bad outdoor capacitor and bad contactor for heat strips at air handler. Made all necessary repairs for system and unit us back up and heating. Replaced (20x20x1) system filter. Advised customer that drain needs to be properly elevated and flushed. Recommended repairs for drain system, customer declined recommendations at this time.
Upon arrival customer stated that heat stopped working last night. Stated that it has been running fine u til we reached the colder temperatures. After inspection of 7 year old heat pump system found that system had a bad defrost board. When I tried to manually the board into defrost mode it would not go into defrost. It would just turn off the outdoor system. Outdoor capacitor is testing bad, outdoor contactor was very pitted. Blower wheel was clean, evaporator coil is clean, blower motor capacitor tested good with no issues. Drain line inside p trap was a little clogged, drain line does not have enough elevation to drain properly. There is no in line flood protection on system, unit does have a float switch in drain pan. Recommended new defrost board, outdoor capacitor, outdoor contactor, wet pan switch, in line float switch, drain line elevation, customer only wanted to have defrost board and capacitor installed at this time. Will order board and follow up with customer tomorrow for
Tech completed full furnace inspection. Tech noticed lots of repairs needed at furnace area. Plus furnace heat exchanger has lots of rust and corrosion potentially leading to fire hazard. Tech noticed pinhole leaks inside furnace burner area, this can lead to cracks inside heat exchanger and potential fire hazard… customer wants to schedule a CA out tomorrow between 12-2pm for full system quote… Please review email, to respond to any estimates you can do so by email or call-in to reschedule appointments.
