Came out for Home Care heating/cooling check on 2019 Lennox Heat Pump with 2 zones. Verified zone board, both tstats and dampers all operational. Verified customer just changed 15x20x1 filter recently. Cleared condensate line and verified draining properly. Pan switch wired in however no wet switch or in-line switch, recommend adding for TE Standard Flood Protection. Upon pulling disconnect in air handler saw it was melted. Checked wire size and heat strip kit, all else looks good. Cause of melted disconnect appears to be loose connections on lugs. Made customer aware and recommended replacing to be able to continue checking system. Customer agreed. Replaced bad 60amp disconnect with new one, stripped wires down for new copper connections and ensured theyre tight. Found blower wheel with dust build up, recommend pulling and cleaning. Found outdoor coil with dirt and debris, recommend chemically cleaning. Verified cooling and heating operations after disconnect repair. Did find pressure

Upon arrival customer stated she had someone come and make a repair for system earlier last week. After inspection of system found that everything was working and heating the home. Issue was the temperature set points in thermostat were set to high and all not even. Thermostat were calling for 85-89 degrees at thermostat over working the furnace. Went over a good balance with customer for system and recommended signing up for homecare maintenance on 6 year old system. Customer signed up 1 system, 3 zones for homecare maintenance. She will call in when ready to schedule first maintenance visit. Systems is heating at this time. lakytiaking@aol.com

Customer was experiencing a whole home back up. I tested the main floor bathroom and saw that it was clogged. Toilet was bubbling when tested. Customer also had a fridge supply line that wasn’t fully screwed in. I tightened it and confirmed that water was running. For the toilet I recommended pulling it up and running a cable machine down the line customer agreed. I removed the toilet and ran the cable machine down the line successfully clearing the blockage. I then tested the line with the sink and toilet supply line and it did not back up again. I reset the toilet with a new supply line, wax ring, closet bolts and china caps. Tested the toilet multiple times for any leaks. The toilet does sit very high in the air. I let the customer know and told them not to use it before the caulking dries. Customers clean out in the driveway is damaged due to not being screwed in right and then driven over.

Came out today to perform one system HVAC no heat service call. Upon arrival, customer stated he had a front system and a back system. The back system was a zone system that controls the upstairs and downstairs of the back of the house. Upon inspection of the system found that the outdoor system was originally on high-pressure lockout. Also, upon further inspection, customer stated that the inside system would never shut down. Upon inspection of the indoor system found lots of rust on the indoor coil, the blower wheel is dirty, there is biological growth along the sides of the air handler and on the blower and coil, the heat strips would not come on due to the air handler control board not sending power to turn on heat strips when being called for, there is currently voltage going into the board to turn on the heat strips, but no voltage is coming out to turn on the heat strips. At this time there is also no UV protection. There is no TE standard flood protection with a wet switch. Upo
