Mike & Jermaine were great. Since there were several repairs to be made, they “divided and conquered” by each working on separate things. Called out for a home back up the bathroom in the master the kitchen sink and the laundry room were backed up on arrival. Septic tank wasn’t full,clean out wasn’t holding. Ran the cable inbound on the cleanout to relieve blockage. Blockage with tissue pulled the toilet and reset the toilet with a new wax ring replaced flapper and readjusted fill valve. Everything is open and flowing at this time.. thanks for choosing TE certified.

Installed jbox and while for garage disposal, floodlight in backyard, fixed bad tap in master bedroom, reset gfi, replaced standard breaker to dual function and replaced floodlight above garage
For this job, we worked on troubleshooting why several outlets throughout the home were ungrounded, which came up during sellers inspection. Turns out the grounds were cut off during the install 40 years ago. we had to cut the sheathing and extend all grounds so all outlets are now grounded. installed a customer provide a light fixture in the basement A and put a bonding screw/jumper and cover on open 1900 metal box. Did final walk-through with homeowner. Everything is working as it should.
Came out for no heat call on 1993 Rheem 80% Furnace with 2005 R22 Trane AC. Upon arrival tstat set for heat and furnace was running but very loudly. Can hear humming noise when blower runs then gets louder then burners shut off. Found failing blower motor as well as board with intermittent issues. When calling for fan only board is receiving proper 24v but not giving out 120v for motor to run. Runs fan in heat mode until motor gives out then it shuts off. Found very rusted heat exchanger and burners. Found excessive dust build up on blower fan and cabinet. Also found minimal dust build up on evaporator coil however it is showing evidence of bacterial growth. Main recommendation is to have Install Supervisor come out to discuss new system options due to age and condition of current equipment. Also recommended signing up for our 2 System Home Care plan for 3 annual visits, priority service, and 10% discounts on our services. Customer agreed. Signed up for 2 system plan and also scheduled
Installed 50 gal gas water heater installation, in the garage, w expansion tank (65psi), 3/4” ball valve, drain pan. PRV in wall inside garage replaced with 3/4” ball valve. Toilet on 1 st floor pulled and reset with new wax ring, angle stop and steel braid supply. All tested with no leaks and proper operation. Customer very satisfied.
Installed access panel in basement ceiling to cover hole cut for gas line repairs.
Performed fall inspection on two 25yr old units, upon arrival customer stated units are working but he is getting a burning smell that has been going on for over a week, inspected both tststs, cycled to heat mode, upon going in attic recommend TE flood protection due to both units not having flood protection, both units need return plenums, and some duct modifications due to starting to see thru duct work, inspected inducer motor, both inducer motors over amping, recommend replacing both, checked burners, ignition, both blower motors pulling high amps, downstairs motor leaking oil, both capacitor reading below specs, recommend replacing both blower motors and capacitors, explained to customer his burning smell is coming from windings failing inside motors, blower wheels impacted, recommend cleaning blower wheels as well, explained to customer we can replace components and other older parts can still fail, inspected outdoor units but didn’t turn them on due to outdoor temp being 26 degr
Upon arrival customer stated they noticed white smoke coming from only one vent in house this morning from downstairs unit, inspected vent found no signs or smell of smoke , vents are dusty, with no return or supply grills , cycled tstst to heat mode, unit started up, heat coming from all vents and no signs of smoke, went into attic, inspected filters, recommend replacing, customer will pick up filters and replace themselves, pulled out apco and inspected supply plenum, no issues, made sure duct they seen smoke from was attached with no issues as well, explained to customer not sure why the one vent would have been smoking and not all vents downstairs, customer will keep eye on vent and send video if it does it again, customer wanted upstairs supplied tstat installed, customer is aware no warranty on tstst, installed new nest tstat configured and set up on customer phone, cycled heat and ac mode to make sure both modes are working, recommend duct cleaning but customer wants to wait du
Customer stated AGL came out and turned gas meter off due to a leak near fireplace. Cut hole in drywall for access to the right side of fireplace around gas pipe and also downstairs in the basement living room ceiling and wall to be able to find the gas leak and to make the repair. Coming from a gas flex line which was connected in the basement ceiling with no access which the flex line and the gas shut off valve for fireplace was completely concealed. Removed gas flex line and ceiling and replaced with black iron pipe. Test it inspected no other leaks found. Also customer stated that the basement toilet rocks back and forth. Found that the flange is cracked and needs to be replaced. Replaced toilet flange, bolts and wax ring. Caulked around base of toilet tested and inspected everything is working fine with no leaks. Returning Tuesday to provide and install one access panel in basement living room ceiling so that the gas shut off valve in ceiling to fireplace will be accessible from n
