Jamie the technician arrived on time and appeared and acted like a professional. His service was of old days being courteous and in detailed fashion explaining how the service call would proceed. He even allowed me time to go purchase an extra thermostat to install while he was there. To top off the service he even insisted wearing boot covers while walking on my hardwood floors. I had another HVAC company but will switch to TE for that as well.
Obed was very courteous, and even had shoe coverings every time he entered my house (without me even asking! A rarity with service personnel around here...). He was knowledgeable and efficient, and very professional. Price was a little higher than I had hoped to pay, but I would gladly pay a little extra for the excellent service I received. Would definitely hire him again!
Would use this company again. Responded quickly to my needs. Electrician was knowledgable in the products.
Troubleshooting the Front Door Chime System Replaced (1) Front Door Transformer/Chime
Customer has 6 y/o 2-zone Rheem heat pump system that operates for whole house. System is not cooling due to low pressure levels indicating loss of refrigerant. Performed electronic leak search and found that system has bad evaporator coil. Evaporator coil is also rusted. Noticed during inspection, that biological growth is present. Blower wheel is also dirty. Condenser coils are dirty as well. Replaced 20x20x1 filter. Informed customer of findings. Advised customer to seek options for system upgrade, particularly due to system no longer being under warranty, which expired 2/2023. Customer would like to review options. Outdoor unit disconnect left in OFF position to avoid any further damage.
Customer has 5 y/o Carrier furnace matched with 12 y/o Amana AC that operates for whole house. System was not operable due to condensate drain pump safety triggered due to faulted GFCI. Reset GFCI. Tested heating and cooling. Head pressure was high due to dirty condenser coils. Recommend condenser coil cleaning. System is currently working.
For this job, I worked on helping Joshua by extending his 60 amp circuit and running PVC in the garage all the way as closest possible to the garage door. installed his ChargePoint EV charger, that way he can charge outside and inside. tested voltage upon completing, also tested it by plugging it into his electric van and it works great. Had to move two circuits from main panel to subpanel to create space for the 60 amp breaker required for the EV Charger. also ended up installing a surge protector at his main panel.
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today.
Performed home care inspection on two systems.
