Steven was friendly, knowledgeable and respectful. Since I don’t know anything about electrical wiring, I relied upon him to explain what he was doing and to show me what needed to be done. He did that and he didn’t seem to mind my standing nearby asking him questions. However…I also realized that we went from $139.00 to fix a broken light switch to $1000.00 to replace breakers that Steven said were not correctly installed. I sincerely hope that this was the case and that we weren’t scared into fixing something that didn’t need repairing. I would like to have a reliable company to call upon if we ever need electrical work again.

Great Service

We received great service today from Steven. Before arriving, he kept me informed of arrival time. Upon arriving, he quickly inspected the problem switch and checked the panel. He let me know what he observed on the panel and determined we only need to replace the switch which he did in a short amount of time. He showed me the defective part and quickly replaced the switch. He was professional from beginning to end.

Came out today to perform one system HVAC service inspection. Upon arrival, customer stated they were smelling a burning smell when the unit came on. Customer also stated they had someone come look at the system and turn the power off. Upon start up of the system the burning smell was very strong after testing found that the blower motor has failed along with the blower capacitor. Upon further inspection found that the blower wheel had buildup, there was no TE standard flood protection, and no UV protection. At this time, customer needs to speak with husband before making a decision and will let me know and answer by 7 o’clock tonight. At this time system is turned off due to blower wheel over amping.

Customer called us out for a whole home back up. I tested the shower and toilet on arrival and it quickly backed up. I recommended using a cable machine to clear the blockage and the customer agreed. I advised customer that he might have cast iron and included a waiver in the quote. I removed the toilet and ran a cable machine down the line successfully clearing it and retrieving roots. I recommended not to flush toilet paper until a sewer supervisor comes out 1/2/26 11-2. I reinstalled the toilet because I did not have any plugs.

Inspected for issue. Found that the tubular waste was broken and leaking into cabinet. Replaced strainers, tubular, and made a new connection at the ABS. Tested for leaks and function. Found that the sink was experiencing a slow clog. Used a sink plunger to gain relief. This was done as a courtesy and there is no warranty for drain cleaning. Hank you for choosing T.E. Certified.

Today we came back out to install new defrost board and defrost sensor. After replacing parts, I let system run for 45 minutes, tested defrost, and got pressures. For this job I installed a halo ion 6 conditioner above the water heater, I also removed and replaced shark bite fittings and installed a new brass female adapter , a new brass ball valve and a new expansion tank. Previous expansion tank was failed and being held up by plumbing it is now properly strapped with exp tank bracket. Also flushed water heater tank removing debris and sediment. Removed and replaced existing 1/3 hp disposal that had a hole with a new badger 5-92 1/2 hp disposal. Double check and tested for leaks. Conducted a super cleanup. Performed diagnostic on 22yr old downstairs Goodman unit, upon arrival customer stated heat hasn’t worked in over two weeks and also ac wasn’t working properly during the summer, checked tstat, found c and w wire not pushed all the way in, pushed wires in and cycled to heat mode, only blower came on, no call for heat at unit, went into configuration and found tstat not set up properly, set up tstat for 1heat 1 cool, went back to furnace and unit tried to start up, but no igniter glow, found broken igniter, recommend replacing to continue checking system, checked inducer amps, found inducer over amping, recommend replacing inducer, explained can fail at any moment, checked blower capacitor, blower wheel impacted with signs of oil as well, recommended blower cleaning also explained blower motor can fail at any moment, filter was heavily impacted, explained to customer filter should be replaced every 30days, went over all options with home owner and decided to go with option c, schedule i

Arrived on site to troubleshoot a no heat. The furnace is a 1987 Trane natural draft furnace with a compromised heat exchanger. The pilot light was lit but the thermostat wouldn’t respond. Thermostat is also extremely old and failing, we replaced batteries and attempted to test the system again and the unit turned over and began heating again. We have failing motors, capacitors out of spec, breached heat exchanger, improper drains, improper flues and an r22 AC. Clients did say this is their forever home and would like somebody out to discuss replacement tomorrow after 3pm. They do currently have heat, but there is major work recommended to restore the system. We collected payment via mobile capture (check). Client want to sign up for Homecare but expressed interest in doing so tomorrow once the comfort consultation is in progress. Call complete pending tomorrows follow up.
