Professional, Friendly Company

I needed a submersed sump pump replaced in my basement, which was in the process of being remodeled. Zack came out and thoroughly explained the process and gave me an estimate. After a couple minor issues -- regarding my older pump set-up, Zach and Vincent got it all cleared and operating correctly. The prior install was not professional, resulting in more work for Zach and Vincent. I would highly recommend TE Certified to anyone; they will be called when service is needed in the future. Thank you, guys.

Excellent Service

Allen arrived promptly within arrival window. When he arrived he explained the process of completing the work (Adding a T fitting and shutoff valve to my gas line). He completed the work quickly and explained how connection worked. He even painted the new pipe fitting to match the older pipes. He did a great job. This company has great customer service. They even called me back after the initial estimate and worked with me to provide a better quote. I will definitely use them again if needed.

Today I did a couple minor electrical fixes and repairs. I changed two single pole breakers to common trip because they are sharing a neutral. Also did an LED ball bypass on the fluorescent fixture in the kitchen. The two pole breaker I installed a circuit number 22 and 24.

Came out today, due to system would cut on and off. Upon inspection of the system, found that the thermostat had batteries in it and gave consistent power, upon walking into the basement heard condensate pump continuously running without cutting off, found no water and drain pan. Upon visual inspection found this system could not have T standard flood protection, no UV protection. After performing test on the entire system, found that the condenser coil is dirty, the outdoor capacitor was bad, the condensate pump was not working. Comp presenting options to homeowner. Homeowner agreed for Band-Aid repair. Upon upon completion and testing system found system also low on 410 but due to the condition of the outdoor unit cannot give you an exact reading without cleaning the system first. System is currently up and working. Condensate pump is now pumping out properly.

Came out today because the only system for home was not cooling. Upon arrival, found power to the thermostat and thermostat calling but warm air coming out of the vents. Upon visual inspection found that the outdoor condenser fan was running, but the compressor was not running. Also upon visual inspection found That the filter had minimum buildup, the outdoor coil had no buildup on it, the indoor blower motor had built up on it, the indoor coil had no buildup on it. After performing diagnostics, I found the outdoor capacitor was completely bad on the compressor side, the condenser fan side was testing weak, the contactor was burnt, the indoor fan capacitor is weak, and the system had no flood protection, the condensate pump also had no kill switch or flood protection for it. Upon presenting all options to homeowner he approved option a with the home care. Changed outdoor contactor and capacitor. Upon startup of system, found that the thermostat was not set up properly for a dual fuel h

Returned on site to run snake through toilet in the master bathroom as quoted last visit. Was able to clear blockage, the blockage itself was caused by orange peels I was able to pull back. Flushed the toilet simulating usage with toilet and it had a strong flush. Client happy with work done.

Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. Compressor is bad. Pulls 75 amps on starts up nameplate specs for LRA is 77. Compressor runs for about 5 seconds then pressures shoot up abive 600 and compressor trips out completely. Daikin has to order compressor from factory said it would be 2 weeks minimum to get the part.

Ran diagnostic on both systems in home. Found both systems low on refrigerant and at risk to start freezing up soon due to current pressures. Recommendations to install flood protection. Rinsed down main floor unit to get more accurate reading on pressures. Cap and contactor are rusted and pitted. Systems both almost 20 yrs old. Couldn’t pin point leak during diagnostic leak search will be required to start the repair options. No work was done here, only troubleshooting and a quick water rinse down of main floor out door coil.

System not cooling due to condensation pump not completely plugged in. Tech plug in pump , pump was making loud grinding noise, this indicates motor has gone bad. motor . Customer is doing construction in the basement, sheet rock dust covering furnace and blower motor. Drain pan is bent tech recommended wet switch to detect water in pan. Condenser unit is needing to be chemically cleaned. Tech also recommended a home care. Customers declined home care and only wanted the bare minimum done. Installed new condensate pump, tested passed . System is running. The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today.

Today we replaced the 11 year old water heater, pressure regulator, and main shut off valve. We removed all the push connections fittings that were attached above the water heater. All new sections of copper. The flue was connected to the new unit. Added a low point drain to the relief line. The new thermal expansion tank was mounted to a stud per code. New heater was set in a catch pan. The pressure regulator was replaced and installed a new whole house 1/4 turn shut off valve. These were located behind the the cabinet in the basement. Customer gave authorization to cut access to the regulator. Pressurized system and checked both gas and water connections.
