Steven was friendly, knowledgeable and respectful. Since I don’t know anything about electrical wiring, I relied upon him to explain what he was doing and to show me what needed to be done. He did that and he didn’t seem to mind my standing nearby asking him questions. However…I also realized that we went from $139.00 to fix a broken light switch to $1000.00 to replace breakers that Steven said were not correctly installed. I sincerely hope that this was the case and that we weren’t scared into fixing something that didn’t need repairing. I would like to have a reliable company to call upon if we ever need electrical work again.

We received great service today from Steven. Before arriving, he kept me informed of arrival time. Upon arriving, he quickly inspected the problem switch and checked the panel. He let me know what he observed on the panel and determined we only need to replace the switch which he did in a short amount of time. He showed me the defective part and quickly replaced the switch. He was professional from beginning to end.

Came out today due to system not heating. Upon arrival found two systems that were currently not heating. Upon inspection and speaking with the homeowner they agreed for a one system diagnostic on just the main level furnace. Upon inspection of the main level gas furnace found system not igniting with the smell of gas. Upon full diagnostic system found that the flue vent on the roof is totally rusted out, the blower will is dirty, the blower motor capacitor is bad and reading below factory standards, the heat exchanger has major rust spots, the inducer motor is over amp, there is no UV protection on the system, there is no TE standard flood protection for the system. At this time, all ductwork appears to be in good condition but dirty. At this time due to the customer, not making repairs cut system’s gas valve off so it would not continue to try and ignite due to it putting gas into the air. At this time system is still currently not working. Review all estimates to address all issues
Came out for a no heat switch is stuck. Igniter is also in poor condition and barely ignites due to the buildup on it. Very rough and over camping. Bottom of the evaporator pool is extremely dirty blower wheels also extremely dirty. Gas connections are against code. They have flex running from the line directly into the gas valve itself. Heat exchanger is also compromised. Do not recommend repair repairs customer elected to have installed supervisor come out and give us estimates for replacement on the system. Left power off at furnace switch. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
As we arrived today, Customer explained to us that he needed a new receptacle installed in his sunroom. We found a single pole switch directly behind the wall where he wanted the receptacle install installed. We received power from that switch and cut in a new receptacle on the opposite side of the wall. We installed a white duplex receptacle and cover. Once all connections were made the receptacle work properly.
For this job I came out and replaced a insinkerator quick lock mount/ flange that was leaking and not mounted properly. Tested and checked for leaks conducted a super cleanup.
Came out today to perform one system HVAC service inspection. Upon arrival, customer stated they were smelling a burning smell when the unit came on. Customer also stated they had someone come look at the system and turn the power off. Upon start up of the system the burning smell was very strong after testing found that the blower motor has failed along with the blower capacitor. Upon further inspection found that the blower wheel had buildup, there was no TE standard flood protection, and no UV protection. At this time, customer needs to speak with husband before making a decision and will let me know and answer by 7 o’clock tonight. At this time system is turned off due to blower wheel over amping.
Replace the front exterentry pendant light.
We would replace the current perforated 50 gallon gas heater in the basement with a new Rheem 50 gallon gas water heater. 10 year warranty, also replaced the Prv and main shut off.
Provide and replace up to 13 switches in various locations in home. Replace thermostat for the tile floors in master bathroom.
Cleared blockage in kitchen sink with tub gun
Customer called us out for a whole home back up. I tested the shower and toilet on arrival and it quickly backed up. I recommended using a cable machine to clear the blockage and the customer agreed. I advised customer that he might have cast iron and included a waiver in the quote. I removed the toilet and ran a cable machine down the line successfully clearing it and retrieving roots. I recommended not to flush toilet paper until a sewer supervisor comes out 1/2/26 11-2. I reinstalled the toilet because I did not have any plugs.
Replaced failed thermal expansion tank and pressure reducing valve. Removed saddle valves on hot and cold lines. Tested for leaks and function, all good. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified.
Inspected for issue. Found that the tubular waste was broken and leaking into cabinet. Replaced strainers, tubular, and made a new connection at the ABS. Tested for leaks and function. Found that the sink was experiencing a slow clog. Used a sink plunger to gain relief. This was done as a courtesy and there is no warranty for drain cleaning. Hank you for choosing T.E. Certified.
Today we came back out to install new defrost board and defrost sensor. After replacing parts, I let system run for 45 minutes, tested defrost, and got pressures.
